Cultural exchange at it's utmost
Water pump where the women go multiple times everyday
River Gambia with a beautiful sunset
Guess? No TP provided.
Typical transportation from up-country. Unfortunately, no AC, many hot, sticky van-mates, and usually no less than a 3 hour minimum ride.
My sleeping quarters at training camp. The temperature inside was not acceptable, hence my move outside. In the morning my sheets were usually soaked from dew so I dried them in the day. But at least I could sleep in the night breeze.
Inside my hut
The darling little women in my training village. My host sister is on the far right. She is by far the cutest in the Gambia.
